YaM Brand is a graphic design and photography studio in Seattle that specializes in brand identity and development with a focus on the environmentally responsible. For more than a decade, YaM Brand (formally YaM Studio) has helped local and national clients meet or surpass their targets; from brand identity and development to designing packaging to creating out-reach campaigns for nonprofit agencies. Principals Angela Mack and Michael Young honed their aesthetics while earning degrees in fine arts, illustration, and photography. They are artists who understand businesses needs, and their clients appreciate the fact that their creative IS creative.

Twice in a row, YaM Brand established an identity for the “poetry on buses” theme. Enticing more than 3,000 to submit poems, each of the 55 jury selected poems are included in a book and on bus placards.
South Downtown Foundation
The South Downtown Foundation was formed to address the impacts of the new Football Stadium and Exhibition Center, YaM Brand created an identity and collateral that represents the uniqueness of each of Seattle’s three South Downtown communities.
WIC
Educational materials for the government agency that serves Women, Infants and Children (WIC). YaM Brand concepted and designed a series to address health and behavior messages.
4Culture
E4Culture is King County’s cultural services agency, with programs in the arts, heritage, historic preservation and public art. YaM Brand worked with 4Culture’s Heritage and Preservation staff on Destination Heritage
Saint Leo University
YaM Brand developed Connects, a dynamic, oversized, biannual magazine with fresh content highlighting academic programs, student communities, and alumni success. Connects and supporting materials provide visual excitement and engaging stories, setting them apart from the many publications that flow into high school students’ mailboxes each year.
